This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the use of Edison's name, whether authorized or unauthorized, for advertising, trademark, or other purposes. The items for 1906 pertain to an "Edison Piano" and to a town named "Edison" in Alberta, Canada. A letter from a Methodist minister in Alberta bears a notation by Edison directing his staff to "send a Standard phonograph & 100 Records with large Horn to the Minister for use in the social gatherings of his church."
