This folder contains correspondence, agreements, and other documents relating to the telephone in the United States and abroad. Many of the documents deal with the Edison Gower-Bell Telephone Co. of Europe, Ltd., and the Oriental Telephone Co., Ltd.

Approximately 80 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: routine correspondence concerning accounts; receipts; duplicate copies of selected documents; blank forms.
