This folder contains correspondence relating to the establishment and operation of electric lighting systems in the United Kingdom. Many of the letters are by S. Flood Page, secretary of the Edison & Swan United Electric Light Co., Ltd., and pertain to the British judicial decision nullifying the validity of one of Edison's 1879 electric light patents (no. 4576). There are also letters by Charles F. Stone regarding dividends from Edison's Indian & Colonial Electric Co., Ltd.
