This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the business of the Edison Manufacturing Co. Most of the letters are by Philip S. Dyer, Edison's European agent in Antwerp, and deal with a contract between Edison and Felix Lalande for the rights to the Lalande battery.
Approximately 50 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: routine business correspondence regarding equipment and orders; duplicate copies of selected documents.
