This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the business of the Lansden Co., a Newark-based manufacturer of electric wagons in which Edison for a time held the controlling interest. Included are items concerning Edison's financial obligations and the company's receivership and reorganization.

Approximately 40 percent of the documents have been selected. The items not selected pertain primarily to creditors and claims against the company.
