This folder contains requests for Edison's autograph or photograph and related correspondence. Included are letters from collectors, publishers, news bureaus, photography studios, and educators. Also included is correspondence with Edison's acquaintances and employees, along with distributors of his phonographs and batteries. Among the items for 1916 are letters from Leonidas B. Estopinal, son of Congressman Albert Estopinal of Louisiana; British engineer Arthur Percy Morris Fleming; John Frazer, dean of the Towne Scientific School at the University of Pennsylvania; attorney and former Edison employee William H. Lanman; and portrait artist Jacques Reich.
