These records cover the period September 1886-July 1904. There are administrative and financial documents, including correspondence, as well as reports, property descriptions, questionnaires, and receipts. The documents pertain to various companies, most of them affiliated with Edison, and a few individuals who engaged Elliott as counsel. Most of the material is perfunctory, and less than 5 percent of it has been selected. Documents from the following folders have been selected: (1) Edison Industrial Works; (2) Edison Saunders Compressed Air Co.; (3) Silver Lake Property; (4) West Orange Property.
