This notebook covers the period May-October 1888. All entries are by Charles Batchelor. The first 25 pages contain notes regarding applicants for jobs at the laboratory. Included also are 10 pages of notes and drawings relating to the talking doll and 2 pages of armature drawings and calculations. The front cover is labeled "Help - Applications Addresses (Batchelor, Charles)." The book contains 112 numbered pages.
