This notebook covers the period January 1888-March 1890, with scattered entries from 1891 and 1892. It is the first of two books (see also N-90-02-15) that were used by an unidentified employee as a sign-out book for items borrowed from Edison's library. There are also notes regarding library acquisitions. The book contains 145 numbered pages.
